This sock is constructed with a 3D knitted shaping process. It has a thicker weave in the toes, heal and cuff around the top. There is also a section in the middle that provides more compression at the arch. The company Logo is embroidered in the top of the toes.

 Field Test

At the time I received and started wearing Chill Boys socks, I wasn’t including socks on the wear schedule so specific dates of wear wasn’t tracked by my database. So you will just have to take my word on it. . I wear boots most of the time due to work and other outdoor activities. I did sport these socks while on vacations, leisure activities and my workouts (when I make myself do it). I have had them on with my running shoes and Sketcher’s. They have endured lots of walking while at Disney and travel. I would say that I have had them one at least 15 times per pair in 2023. They have been laundered after each use.

Feel

The bamboo fabric is very soft.

Fit

The size Large fit my size 12 foot perfectly so I would say they fit as listed. The top of the sock’s fit on the ankle is in line with the top of my shoe. The Flex in the material gives it a form fitting wear and pulls on without any problems.

Performance

The bamboo fabric is very breathable and moisture wicking. It keeps its form all day. No saggy sock. I didn’t experience any discomfort or rubbing issues.

Quality

The sock has proven to be well made with no signs worn or deformed areas and no loose threads.

Design

The shaped fit on the foot and thicker material in the usual stress areas are a great designs. The added compression in the arch is a nice feature. Again the bamboo material gets high marks.

So what’s the word

Yes I admit I suffer from sweaty feet and I can honestly say that Chill Boys ankle sock made from bamboo is a great option to curb hot sweaty feet. I liked the performance of these socks very much. They definitely helped to avoid sore tender feet with all the walking at Disney. These socks are currently listed at $21.95 for two pairs. So, that’s $10.95 per pair. Not the cheapest socks out there but they are certainly not the most expensive either. Comfort and performance “this is the way”
