These Crew socks are made from a bamboo viscous material that are tube knitted for the sock shape. The sock is knitted with different section having different knitting patterns and variations in thickness to make thicker areas such as the heal and toes and a more compressed zone for the arch area. These sock come to mid calf. The “Chill Boys” logo is weaved into the top of the toes. The socks come in a 2 pack.
Field Test
I have worn these socks almost every week since I received them. At the time I was not including sock into my wear schedule to be documented so, I am adding the days I have worn them by memory and estimation. I estimate that I have worn these socks (both pairs) about 70 times since July of 2022 until January of 2024 where both pairs finally wore holes and I stopped wearing them. Most of the time I had them on from 10 to 14 hours a day. That about 840 hours of wear! Most of that time they were in my work boots at work, the shop, hiking and hunting and in all temperatures. They were put through the laundry cycle after each use.
Review
The Chill Boys Crew socks are very soft and flexible. The bamboo material proved to be very breathable and moisture wicking. They performed very well on the job at work and stayed comfortable all day. They had plenty of elasticity and stay snug on the foot, I didn’t experience any bunching in the toes or the tops slipping down in my boots. I can’t really gage the arch support because I wear an arch band due to my stupid heal spurs. All in all this is a very comfortable and durable sock.

My Thoughts
Well these socks have certainly proven to be durable. They have preformed quite well in my work boots on and off the job. I have worn them in both insulated and non-insulated boots alike. In cold and warm weather. I think they would be worth the investment for a work wear. They are currently listed for $21.95 for two pair, so around $10.90 a pair. It’s more than the multi packs of bargain brands but in my experience they way outlast the cheaper guys with better performance and comfort. They have lasted longer the some of name brand “Work” socks I’ve tried. They can be ordered directly from Chill Boys.
